What is Kybella and How Does It Work?

How Does Kybella Work?

During a Kybella treatment, the provider carefully maps the submental area and administers a series of small injections directly into the fat layer beneath the chin.

 The deoxycholic acid in Kybella works to break down the fat cells in the treated area. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat.

Over the following weeks, the body naturally processes and eliminates the destroyed fat cells, resulting in a slimmer, more contoured jawline.

A Kybella session typically takes 15–20 minutes, making it an ideal option for those with busy schedules.
